This upper East Medford yard was already nice. But the homeowners like to entertain and the old layout just didn’t flow well. Plus. some of the decking was falling and the cement pool decking had cracks.
This is a multi-phased job.
First task was to remove the falling trex decking. The space it occupied is incorporated into the expanded patio area.
The new design includes creating an outdoor kitchen area with pizza oven, fridge, barbecue sheltered by a pergola overhead. The circular sitting area is designed for eating with company.
We prepped the cracked cement pool decking (ground down & removed some) overlaid with pavers, and added new pool coping. The pool was replastered. LED lighting was installed throughout. Finally, ledgestone steps and pathway lead from front door area to the back.
